15 Killer Heart Disease Toxins

Fifteen worst killer disease toxins are reported by cardiologist and alternatives newsletter author, Stephen Sinatra in his November newsletter Heart, Health & Nutrition.

Stephen Sinatra, M.D. reports that, according to the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, there are now 90,000 toxin you have exposure to.  Here is his list of the worst toxins:

  1. Insecticides and pesticides…also increase Parkinson’s disease
  2. Pharmaceutical drugs…deplete the body of nutrients and energy
  3. Alcohol…overindulgence ages the body
  4. Mold…a cause of severe allergic reactions
  5. Cigarettes…thousands of bad compounds in each puff
  6. Soft Drinks…too much sugar or artificial sweeteners & phosphoric acid leaching out calcium
  7. Trans fats…oxidative stress (& foreign substances to body…hard to get rid of)
  8. Chlorine…forms trihalomethanes, associated with heart disease, cancer & asthma
  9. Perfumes, cosmetics, & aluminum-containing deodorants.  (unnatural & possible carcinogens)
  10. Xenoestrogens…man made chemicals that mimic estrogens, affecting hormone levels and associated with increased cancer risk
  11. Processed meats…baloney, ham & hot dogs…contain nitrates toxic to G.I. tract and contribute to cancer
  12. Heavy metals…mercury, lead.  Mercury is found in ocean and farm raised fish
  13. Radon (inert element) a leading cause of lung cancer, 2nd only to smoking. It is found in 1 out of 15 homes.
  14. High fructose corn syrup in thousands of processed foods. It promotes inflammation and obesity (and sometimes found to have mercury contamination from processing)
  15. Vaccinations.  Thimerosal, a mercury preservative in vaccines that is harmful.
